Komanos, a village in the area of Kozani, no longer exists in the map as there has been a relocation of the village for the needs of the electrical company (D.E.I).
As I was taking photos in village, thrown away pictures on the floor brought memories in my mind! The people in the photos really lived here? The only thing you can hear is sounds from the trucks and the conveyor belts carrying charcoal to the electrical plant.
How fast the heavy machinery demolished the houses that were full of life once! How many generations were brought up here and there is nothing to exist!
Walking through the ruins you can see objects that seem to be talking and narrating the story of the people who once lived here. There are open wardrobes with clothes still hanging chairs, toys, newspapers, cards with wishes, personal belongings, a few blooming flwers and a green tree standing in the ruins reminds you that there cam be life again in the future and that nature always continues to carry on its course without paying attention to any human intervention.
